Organizational Consulting
I help health systems and academic medical centers build integrated behavioral health programs — from the ground up or from wherever you are. My consulting engagements typically begin with one question: who are you trying to serve, and what does serving them well actually require? From there I help organizations assess the clinical and operational landscape, design referral infrastructure and care pathways, develop staffing models, and build for sustainability. I've done this work from the inside, which means I understand the departmental relationships, institutional constraints, and clinical realities that determine whether a program thrives or stalls.
Workshops & Trainings
Interactive sessions for clinical teams, medical educators, and organizational leaders on trauma-informed care integration, physician and trainee well-being, and women's behavioral health. My trainings move beyond awareness into application — helping teams embed trauma-informed principles into clinical workflows, communication practices, and program culture. Sessions are tailored to your setting and designed to be practically useful the day after you leave the room.
Speaking & Media
Engaging keynotes, panels, and media appearances that translate research on connection, well-being, and communication into insights that resonate with diverse audiences and promote understanding and inclusion.
My Approach
I build from the inside out. That means starting with the clinical reality — who the patients are, what the providers need, what the institution can sustain — before designing anything. Trauma-informed and culturally responsive frameworks aren't add-ons in my work; they're foundational to how programs are structured, how teams are trained, and how care is delivered.
I've built behavioral health programs in under-resourced conditions, across departmental lines, without established models to follow. That experience shapes how I consult. I don't offer frameworks that sound good on paper. I help you build something that works in practice — and that outlasts any single person, including me.
